"AMYS Provides Relief to 400 Families in Kinniya Following Cyclone Ditwah"

Under the auspices of the Association of Muslim Youth of Sailan (AMYS), dry food packages were distributed on the 19th to 400 families affected by the catastrophic flooding and heavy rains brought by Cyclone Ditwah in the Kinniya area.

The relief program was held under the chairmanship of Ash-Sheikh M.S.M. Thassim, Managing Director of AMYS. The event was honored by the presence of:

·         Mr. M.S.M. Gani – Divisional Secretary, Kinniya.

·         Mr. W.C.H.K. Fernando – OIC, Kinniya Police Station.

·         Mr. A.J.M. Warith – Executive Director, AMYS.

·         Respected Ulama, dignitaries, and government officials.

This humanitarian initiative reflects AMYS’s continued commitment to supporting vulnerable communities during times of crisis and providing timely relief to families in need.
